Woodridge Lake Amenities

Our recently renovated clubhouse is open year-round to our members and their guests.  On the lower level, one can find our state-of-the-art fitness center, teen center, children’s playroom, and our men’s and women’s locker rooms.

Upstairs one will find our great room with a grand fireplace, meeting rooms, card rooms, the offices, a commercial kitchen,  and an adult lounge with the luxuries of home including a large screen television.  Tea and coffee are always available in the lounge for your pleasure as you relax and enjoy the lake views.

Outside seating is available to members overlooking the clubhouse grounds and the lake.  A perfect vantage spot to observe the beautiful sunsets only seen at Woodridge Lake.

Our clubhouse is available for rent by members outside of the summer season.   Caterers can use the commercial kitchen and bar area.  Upon request, the staff can accommodate you with a dance floor, tables and chairs, and will light the fireplace for you to enjoy the perfect ambiance.

Enjoy the views of Woodridge Lake from the water!  For our member boat owners, Woodridge Lake provides seasonal boat slips in our marina area by the clubhouse.  We have 168 slips available to members across four docks plus short-term docking at the end of each dock.  There is currently a waiting list for boat slips.  Once you are assigned a slip, it will be assigned to you each subsequent year.  Boats are limited to twenty feet and a maximum of ninety horsepower (outboard motors only).  All boats must be registered with the state and with the Woodridge Lake Property Owners Association.  We have a convenient boat launch off of the main parking lot of the clubhouse.

In addition to boat slips, we also offer kayak racks at the clubhouse and our private beaches around the lake for you to store your kayak or paddleboard.

Woodridge Lake offers one of the best facilities for tennis and pickleball in Litchfield County. Four newly constructed, DecoTurf cushioned courts offer beautiful lakeside tennis on the same surface used at the US Open. Four Har-Tru, green clay courts offer a softer, quick-drying surface in a more private setting. Windscreens surround all of the tennis courts to enhance the experience. The tennis facility is available in early spring through the late fall and is centrally located next to the clubhouse, pool, and beach. During the summer season, a sign-up process is available for all courts.

Our Tennis Professional, Mitch Case, offers programs and services for tennis players of all ages and levels. He and his team offer small group clinics, private lessons, and junior teams with all of the tennis equipment and expert advice to help all improve everyone’s game. Tennis mixers, pro-am events, and tournaments are also scheduled every year to provide opportunities for social tennis and competitive games.

The Woodridge Lake pool is the place to be during the hot summer months!

Our swim season opens Memorial Day weekend and closes Labor Day weekend.
The pool is open daily from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm (weather permitting) and is staffed by Red Cross-certified lifeguards. We offer open swim sessions, lap swimming, water aerobics classes, swim lessons for people of all ages, many camp and family activities, and yes, we even have our very own Woodridge Lake Swim Team. All WLPOA members, their children, and even their guests are welcome to use our pool.

We ask that all children under 12 be supervised and that a member accompany their guests while at the pool. We allow all swimmers to use goggles, masks, fins, snorkels, small pool toys, and dive sticks. Kickboards are allowed under adult supervision when being used as a swimming aid or during swim lessons. Any life jackets or swimmies must be Coast Guard-approved.

Our state-of-the-art fitness center is open to members over the age of 15 from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm all year.  Located inside the clubhouse, the fitness center houses an array of cardio and strength training equipment including:

• Free Weights

Enjoy a mix of events and activities at Woodridge Lake throughout the entire year. We have several committees that are dedicated to planning and hosting great events for our members.  We look to offer a variety of affairs to fit the diverse tastes of all of the homeowners… there is always something for everyone!

Summer evening concerts on the beach are always a big draw for most members.  Other events vary from casual meet and greets, cocktail parties, clam bakes, concerts on the beach, boat parades, simple and so much more!
